HUGE model of the scarcer model
128 character baby from Kammer and Reinhardt with the head incised " K*R
SIMON& HALBIG 128 72 " with blue glass sleep eyes, open mouth with two upper
teeth and separately molded tongue, upper and lower painted eyebrows, deep
dimple in the center of the chin, and mounted on the original five piece
bent limb composition body with original finish ( some typical wear and
cracks in places ) and wearing a strawberry blond mohair wig over cardboard
pate and all antique white cotton and lace clothing and bonnet. The
condition is overall very good with a few light wig pulls but all are
concealed with the wig in place. Even the common K&R 126's in this largest
size are relatively rare, but to find a 128 in this size is remarkable. She
is priced reasonably at about the same price that one would expect to pay
for a 126 in this size. US$
1,950.

Petite 12 1/2" ( 32cm )
Simon-Halbig with " Belton "-style solid dome head incised " S H 3 1/2 949 "
with deep brown paperweight eyes, well painted upper and lower lashes,
feathered eyebrows, closed full mouth with hint of a smile, accent dots in
the inner corners of the eyes, pierced ears, and on a fully articulated wood
and composition body with straight wrists with fine original finish. She
wears her original upswept blond mohair wig, and all factory made period
clothing comprised of a one piece pink and white cotton gauze dress with
lace trim, matching pink cotton socks, and white cloth shoes with
pompoms, and a wonderful straw bonnet with
cloth flowers. Most Simon-Halbig 949's tend to be big dolls so it is rare to
find such a small example on a Belton-type body.
US$ 2,450.
