Superb quality German porcelain half doll with superior eye decoration with overall rosy coloring with left arm extended outward at waist length with third and fourth fingers molded together and the other three individually molded. The right arm is bent with the same finger details as the left hand and the hand is cupped with her holding the hand away from the body just above the right breast. Her cafe-au-lait hair is well detailed with comb marks, is parted in the center and her long hair is drawn back into two tight braids wrapped around and covering her ears and is held in place by a painted green hair band. Any markings have been obscured by her cloth clothing as she has obviously been assembled for her skirt to cover a boudoir lamp ( non functional ) but her painted facial characteristics have all the earmarks of a superior quality Hertwig half doll figure. She has a red ribbon from the 1994 UFDC Convention and is in wonderful condition with all the desirable features of a first class half doll! US$ 595.

Large ( 5 1/4", 13cm ) half doll incised on back " Germany 15542 " , most like by Karl Schneider, with wide oval shaped base, nude lady with " Madame Pompadour" gray hair style with right arm out and away with gracefully cupped fingers and the other placing a pink rose in her hair. The features are all molded and painted with a black strap painted around her neck just below the chin. US$ 195.

4 1/4" (10.5 cm) tall Dressel-Kister nude "Pierrette" with spit curls in the center of the forehead and in front of each ear with dramatic eye makeup decoration and highly rouged cheeks. The arms are molded away from the body and are clasped above her right shoulder. Tapered at the base as is typical of Dressel-Kister half dolls, she has the blue ink D & K signature inside the bottom of the figure. US$ 595.
