Adorable and well loved pre- WWI Steiff teddy ( ear button long gone ) recently purchased for the family of the original owner, this bear may at first glance appear to be beige mohair, but upon closer examination one can ascertain that he was originally a white bear as evidenced by the brown nose and claw stitching. He has the " shoe button " eyes, is jointed at the neck , shoulders, and hips, has the original felt paw pads on the bottom feet ( a few typical moth holes ), and due to his age and size ( 8 1/2" , 21.5cm ) has no felt pads on the front feet as was typical of these smaller Steiff bears from this era. As one can see, he has some overall mohair loss, and a burn-like mark on back of his upper left arm, but considering his age, that he is an early white Steiff bear, and the lovability factor, he is still reasonably priced at...................RESERVED

Cute early 1950's beige teddy with paper chest tag reading " Original Teddy Steiff Original Marke " ( and the bear logo ), still retains the metal button in the left ear, and has swivel joints at the head, shoulder, and hips. He has glass eyes, dark brown vertically stitched nose and similarly stitched mouth and claws. He still has his original silk ribbon around is neck, has very clean original paw pads with no moth damage, and the overall condition of the mohair excellent. This little charmer is 9" ( 23cm ) tall. US$ 325.

3 3/4" (9.5 cm) miniature cream colored Steiff "Teddy Baby" from the late 1940's-early 1950's in excellent condition. He is jointed at the head, elbows and hips, is of fine quality mohair with velvet felt lower feet and face mask, glass eyes, brown stitched nose, and still retaining the Steiff identifying button on the left ear. These miniature "Teddy Babies" are becoming increasingly more difficult to find and are actually rarer than the larger sized ones. US$ 795.

Beautiful large Steiff " Foxy " with chest tag reading " Foxy Steiff Original Marke " ( and the picture of a bear's head on the bottom ), and on the back a sticker which reads " Mottenecht Durch Eulan Bayer Leverkusen ". Behind the metal button in the left ear is a yellow tag reading " Steiff Original geschutzt 1335,02 Made in Germany ". He has glass eyes, the original red collar, and is in near mint condition, very clean with bright colors, black stitched nose, and claws. He is about as nice as we have seen of this popular collectible dog and is 13" ( 33cm ) tall and 16 1/2" ( 42cm ) long to the tip of his tail. US$ 495.

12 1/2" ( 32cm ) tall from base of wheels to top of ears, by 9" ( 23cm ) long front to back, all mohair Steiff rabbit on red wooden wheel in overall excellent condition other than the most minor of several tiny moth holes in the felt pads of the lower feet. Although he is lacking his button he is unmistakably Steiff. He has a swivel neck, glass eyes , vertically pink stitched nose with brown stitched border, beige felt mouth, and original pale felt lower foot pads. In addition he retains his original pink silk ribbon around the neck. The upper arms slot into the metal handlebars and when pulled the rabbit goes back and forth in a realistic riding motion. The squeaker is currently inoperative. This is a lovely piece with excellent mohair quality in nice clean condition. US$ 595.
