With carved wooden head with painted hair and facial features, firm cloth body with carved wooden arms and hands, wearing the traditional black tunic with high collar, six brass buttons, and three horizontal embroidered stripes sewn on the sleeves, trousers made from the same material as the jacket, black oilcloth boots which come to just below the knee, and most interestingly the identifying wide brimmed white hat with red thread fringe sewn to the top of the head, and secured by a thread to a loop on the back of the tunic if it were to fall off the head. The overall condition is excellent, complete, the color of the face has not darkened with age, and the clothes have a crispness commensurate with having been cared for well. US$ 2,800.
